If you have ever been drawn to the window of a French bakery to admire its display of elegant and attractive confections, you will know why our customers so often choose a PAUL cake to be the centre piece of any gathering or celebration. There are few cakes prettier than the classic Fraisier Strawberry Cake with its layers of Genoese sponge and velvety crème mousseline, topped with palest green marzipan, decorated and filled with fresh strawberries. For a contrast, choose the Craquant, a dark chocolate sponge, layered with praline and chocolate ganache and finished with a shiny dark chocolate glaze. We even have a French twist on an English favourite, the Carrot Cake (Gâteau aux Carottes), a moist sponge made with grated carrots, filled with soft cheese cream and pecan nuts and flavoured with vanilla syrup. Most of our cakes can be personalised with a special message for a birthday or other celebration and come in different portion sizes to suit all occasions. We can even provide the little extra finishing touches such as a chocolate ‘Happy Birthday’ plaque. As long as you are within our delivery area, we can deliver your cake to your home or office.
