Breakfast

Breakfast like a Parisian at PAUL with our range of absolutely classic, pure butter freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, escargot raisin, savoury filled croissants, irresistible mini doughnuts and other mouth-watering delights. Lighter options include fresh fruit salad and granola pots, or a great snack on the go would be our round muesli galette with a base of dark chocolate. Breakfast is too important to skip, but it should be enjoyable too, so tuck in.

History relates that the ‘pate Viennoise’ used to create croissants and other breakfast favourites was popularised in France thanks to a small bakery in Paris called Boulangerie Viennoise, opened in around 1838 by an Austrian former artillery officer called August Zang. This style of baking immediately became all the rage, so in spite of their origin in Austria, these melt-in-the-mouth morning treats are inextricably linked with France. Every PAUL bakery is filled with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked Viennoiserie in the morning.
