Types of cake personalisation
Marzipan plaque
Our marzipan plaque is handwritten with your message and placed on top of your chosen cake. This allows you to add up to 20 characters.
Direct message
Your chosen message will be directly handwritten onto your cake of choice. This allows you to add up to 35 characters.
Can I personalise a cake at PAUL?
Yes, we offer free personalisation, we can handwrite a message for you on top of a selection of our cakes.
How can I see cakes that can be personalised?
All of our cakes that can be personalised can be found here. On each product listing, if the cake can be personalised, it will show a field for you to type your message in.
What personalisation options are available?
If personalisation is available on your chosen cake, dependant on the decoration and space allowance, it will either be in the form of a handwritten message directly onto the cake or a handwritten marzipan plaque that you can place on the cake. If it's directly on the cake, you can add up to 35 characters. If your message is on a marzipan plaque, you can add up to 20 characters. Please note, we can only write letters from the Latin alphabet and simple emoticons such as smiles and hearts. Each product listing will specify how your message will be displayed.
Can I request a specific message to be written on the cake?
Yes! Simply type your chosen message into the personalisation field on the cake product page. We only currently accept messages written in the Latin alphabet.
How long can my message be?
If your message is directly on the cake, you can add up to 35 characters. If your message is on a marzipan plaque, you can add up to 20 characters.
